HOW TO APPLY The next generation FILM

1. Clean the surface
The surface should be clean, free from dust and grease, smooth and non-porous. If the application surface is untreated wood, sand the surface, remove the sawdust and treat the wood with a primer. Once the primer is dry and the surface is as smooth as possible, continue to step number two.

2. Measure the surface
For optimal results and economic use, measure the surface on which the film will be applied and add at least one centimeter to each side for easier application.

3. Cut the film
Using the dimensions from the previous step, and the markings on the backing paper, cut the film to the desired size. Use a sharp pair of scissors or a sharp cutter and a cutting mat.

4. Apply the film and press down with a squeegee
Peel of 10-15 cm of the backing paper and fold it down. Apply the adhesive film with the adhesive side down on the edge of the application surface. In the same time, slowly peel off the backing paper while smoothing the film from the middle towards the edges with a squeegee or a soft cloth. It is not necessary to press down hard at this step. Thanks to the air release technology, bubbles of air escape and the application goes smoother. If bubbles do form while applying the film, the film can be removed again and reapplied.

5. Cut the excess film (if needed)
Once the surface is smooth, bubble and wrinkle free, go over the whole area with a squeegee or a soft cloth and press so the adhesive makes better contact with the surface. Carefully, using a sharp cutter, cut the edges of the film off. The surface edges can serve as a guide (if applied from edge to edge). Alternatively cut the film to the exact measure or overlap around the edges so they can be covered as well.

6. Enjoy the new look!
Vénilia PVC-free self-adhesive film can be repositioned and reused several times (with careful application). This product can last several years and be kept clean by using a mild diluted all purpose cleaner or water and a soft cloth. It is water repellent, and intended for use indoors.

HOW TO APPLY
the next generation static window FILM

1. Clean the glass surface
The glass surface should be smooth, clean, free from dust and grease.

2. Measure the surface
For optimal results and economic use, measure the surface on which the film will be applied and add at least one centimeter to each side for easier application.

3. Cut the film
Using the dimensions from the previous step, cut the film to the desired size. Use a sharp pair of scissors or a sharp cutter and a cutting mat.
Extra tip: For ease of use, size and directions can be drawn with a marker on the backing side. Separate the static film from the backing on a corner to check which side is the pvc-free film and which side is the backing (it is transparent).

4. Wet the glass and apply the film
Using a window cleaning spray or a water spray, wet the glass surface. It is important to wet the surface generously. Peel of the backing and position the film on the glass surface. Use a squeegee or a squeegee covered with a cloth, press and pull the water away from the middle towards all the sides. Press firmly but carefully. If there are water bubbles left, the foil can be separated from the surface (partially or completely) and the application repeated. It is important to wet the surface generously.

5. Cut the excess film (if needed)
Once the film is applied on the correct spot and there are no water bubbles, excess film can be cut off using a sharp cutter and a ruler.

6. Enjoy the new look!
Vénilia PVC-free static window film can be repositioned and reused (with careful application). This product can last years and be kept clean by using a mild diluted all purpose cleaner or water and a soft cloth. It is water repellent, and intended for use indoors on glass surfaces without texture.
